概要	With the role of the modern EFL teacher defined more as researcher, publisher and innovator, combined with teaching approaches that foster task-based learning and active learning; the importance of authentic materials for EFL courses is now even greater than when the communicative approach to language teaching was in vogue. This paper explores in some detail both the advantages and limitations of using authentic materials in the context of EFL, and also presents a number of ways authentic materials can be incorporated into the EFL classroom.
