概要	This presentation investigates the way ought to is used through English movies. The presenter provides a general description of how the target modal has been interpreted in previous studies. Many scholars claim that ought to is an equivalent to should in that there is hardly any difference in meaning between the modal verbs. It should be pointed out, however, that in this case grammar overrides meaning. Based on the discussion, this presentation considers how ought to should be introduced in English teaching.
