Details To provide a vision and define the central role of world languages in the learning process of every student, the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL, 1996; 2015) has developed five goal areas what is commonly known as the five Cs: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparison, and Communities. This five goal areas of the foreign language learning standards establish language learners an inextricable link between communication and culture, which enable them to apply in making connections and comparisons and in using this competence to be part of local and global communities.
