Details	My research for the 2017-2018 academic year is twofold. Firstly, in terms of teaching freshmen required courses, I aim to encourage and develop communicative competence and self-directed learning. Secondly I hope to study methods of conducting international exchange between students of KUFS and other universities. A related aim is to study the links between peace and tourism; learning about other cultures as a way to support international engagement and exchange.
