概要	This study highlights the necessity of developing teaching materials in the field of Japanese language education that meet the needs of contemporary society and analyzes the conceptual foundations of the beginner’s self-study book “Japanese: The Best Self-Study Book" (by M.N. Mizugrina). Through a multifaceted examination of teaching methods, goal setting, learning content, structure, the development of sociocultural skills, and language-specific features, the study demonstrates that the book has high applicability in distance education, lifelong learning, and supplementary education, and can serve as a model for developing advanced-level self-study materials.
