概要	This study explores the relationship between housing prices and fertility choices in Taiwan from 2000 to 2021. Using OLS regression with data from Taiwan’s Survey of Family Income and Expenditure and housing price indices, the results show no significant overall relationship. However, during 2000–2011, higher housing prices were significantly linked to lower fertility, suggesting that the negative substitution effect of housing costs outweighed the wealth effect. In contrast, the relationship weakened in 2011–2021, possibly due to government interventions in the housing market. This research provides insights into how housing market dynamics impact fertility decisions.
