| 概要 | This study reports a pilot EIL learning program incorporating AI-driven text-to-speech (TTS) to present non-native English variations. Implemented as a short-term intervention with a small group of Japanese university students, the program yielded no statistically significant performance gains, but showed a marginally positive trend in learners’ awareness of strategies for multilingual and multicultural communication. Qualitative reflections suggest emerging openness toward linguistic diversity and a gradual decentering of native-speaker norms. Given the limited scale and duration, the findings should be considered preliminary. |
