概要	This dissertation reports on a research project conducted in an English as a foreign language (EFL) blended learning (BL) course at a university in Japan, in which ways were explored to effectively implement the provision of outside-of-class learning tasks, which had been designed to improve university students’ scores on the TOEIC Listening and Reading Test in ways which sustained student use of the materials. BL, in this project, is defined as a combination of in-class activities and outside-of-class activities integrated in a single learning environment by a web-based courseware which was developed for this study.
