概要 | There are many philosophies and approaches towards second language acquisition, and this paper deals with the aspect, in the author’s opinion, of the method most pertinent to communicating with university students coming from a high-intermediate level as a starting point. In the same way that we carefully and subconsciously structure the input that we give to first language learners - that is, children - we can consciously structure input with second language learners for their maximum benefit. Methodical input in the target language results in increased competence. |
