概要	In my English class, students worked on a semester long interview project on issues they thought were relevant to their lives (like women’s issues) and on issues that are currently in the news. One-third of the class researched sexual harassment in Japan and the USA, carried out 106 interviews of Japanese and international students, analyzed the results and presented their findings to the class. This was not professional research. The interview project was a means of exploring issues and opening up dialogue among students.
