| 概要 | Based on language acquisition data in Japanese, it is shown that the form of an adult grammar is not completely determined by Universal Grammar (UG) alone. A child in this study uses forms ('errors') that are compatible with the grammar of Japanese (i.e. a possible 'dialect' of the language) but not produced by his parent. In the process of fine tuning his grammar of Japanese, the child is shown to be partially dependent on an analogical process. |
