| 概要 | This study examines the My Vocabulary Database (MVD), an ICT-enhanced out-of-class activity for pronunciation courses that combines video-based vocabulary extraction, shadowing, cloud sharing, and peer evaluation. Designed to address limited L2 exposure in EFL contexts, the MVD supports autonomy, competence, and relatedness through learner choice, concise feedback, and peer monitoring. Implemented with Japanese university English majors, the study explored perceived gains in listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary, and the motivational effects of recordings and collaboration. Survey results showed strong perceived benefits: most students reported skill improvement, valued brief feedback, and intended to continue video-based study. Findings suggest that structured ICT tasks that blend individual practice with social accountability enhance motivation and foster learner autonomy. |
