概要	With the aim of developing communicative competence in Spanish and generic skills among fourth-year students of the University Degree in Hispanic Studies, a course was implemented based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) and with a humanistic approach to the business world. In this study, to evaluate the effects of PBL on students' competencies, we analyzed how the students of this course interpret and explain the influence of this teaching methodology on their learning. To this end, the students completed a questionnaire at the end of the course, and a content analysis of their responses was carried out. Based on the results, we consider how PBL can contribute to learning in a university-level Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) course.
