| 概要 | This pilot study examined the effects of a blended English as an International Language (EIL) learning program incorporating planned and staged exposure to teaching materials featuring text-to-speech (TTS)-synthesized speech in diverse non-native English varieties. A total of 15 Japanese university students participated in 5 instruction sessions. Pre- and post-tests were conducted using the EIL Perception Scale, including analyses of open-ended responses through co-occurrence network and thematic analyses. Results indicated a significant trend in “the Strategies for Multilingual and Multicultural Communication” subscale. |
