Details | A book review on the latest CIA history. This review concludes that this book is unique and important in two respects. First, this book consistently insists that CIA’s covert operations have expanded while its original mission, intelligence gathering and analysis, has been neglected. Second, this book puts much emphasis on the description on the CIA history after the end of the Cold War, compared with previous studies that focused on the Cold War years. |
