| Details | In recent years, there has been a series of global conferences that have been organised by the UN with the aim of bringing sustainable development to the forefront of the international agenda. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of these summits with regard to the governance of environmental and development issues. In doing so, it considers what good governance is, and how it relates to the sustainable development. |
