| Details | Los Japón is a 2019 movie, filmed just before the COVID-19 pandemic. The story is based on a true historical event, in 1614, when the Shogun of Sendai sent the samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga to Spain to pay his respects to King Philip III of Spain. Several Japanese from that expedition remained in Spain. |
