Details The purpose of this work consists on the study of the creative proccess of the novel O sol se põe em São Paulo by Bernardo Carvalho, constructed from different novels by Japanese writer Tanizaki Junichirô. We also make an intertextual analysis of the mechanisms used by Carvalho to insert Tanizaki's work in his at the same time that there is a dialogue among the novels and they are confronted in their respective worldviews.
