Details | This paper investigated student responses to the ACE Student Conference in which international teams presented projects and solutions to problems posed by representatives from the business community. Japanese young people need to be dynamic and independent with stronger communicative skills to take on 21st century challenges. In this spirit, the A.C.E. Student Conference was formed in 2014. This paper briefly places the event in the context of a reforming educational system, describe the guiding principles and operation of the event, and draw on participant data to give an assessment of its success. |
