Details	国際主義的民間団体としてアジア太平洋地域の文化・政治・経済に関わる多様な諸問題に関する先駆的な調査・討議・研究活動に従事した「太平洋問題調査会（The Institute of Pacific Relations, IPR)」事務総長を務めたエドワード・C・カーター（Esward C. Carter, 1878-1954）執筆の未発表の回顧録（the Special Collections Department of the Bailey/Howe Library at the University of Vermont所蔵）に関する解題。このカーターの回顧録に関しては、カーターの後を継いでIPR事務総長に就任したウィリアム・ホランド（William L.Holland, 1907-2008)に編集の労を取って頂いた。
