| Details | This paper, after a brief introduction of what zen kōan is, tried to analyze the new Western attempts of reinterpretation concerning the subject of kōan, especially in the light of the tradition and thought of the "philosophy of language", by which the kōan is formed, and is able to communicate a religious "truth". |
