Details Taiwan cannot match up with China's growing military might in a conventional symmetric way. Therefore, Taiwan has no choice but to prioritize asymmetric defense capabilities. In the Taiwan Strait naval battles, the best defensive option Taiwan has is drones, especially of the one-way attack kind against much superior Chinese naval forces.
