| Details | While it is generally accepted that understanding people’s knowledge and attitudes towards the environment and their actions is an important step in establishing effective policies for sustainable development, there is still limited clarity in defining the nature or makeup of the relationship between them. This paper presents a broad picture of the studies done with regard to awareness of environmental issues; attitude towards and intention to carry out positive environmental action; and the actual behavior of various parties towards the environment. |
