| Details | Based on the author’s practical experience and literature review of CALL, this paper presents 10 practical steps involved in setting up and guiding students to successfully completing a research and Web-authoring project. Many of these steps recognize that to carry out any task properly, one requires the right skills and tools and that when students undertake Web-based tasks, they will often be doing so with newly introduced technical skills and knowledge, in their L2, and within a deadline. In addition to collaboration, other pedagogical issues discussed included student-centered learning, student and teacher roles, authenticity, and motivation. |
