Details | Some film makers in the US have started making movies dealing with the problems surrounding dementia. However, the movies still fail to portray the realities of people living with dementia and the people who surround them. The patients as well as their caregivers are isolated, alienated and invisible in these movies. This paper examined some of the Japanese films and the US films and compared how portray the people. |
