Details | This article gives some background to what COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) is and the benefits it has for students, teachers, and institutions. As COIL projects are done with university students from around the world, it allows KUFS students to experience and improve upon their intercultural competencies by completing projects with students at foreign institutions without needing to travel abroad. The co-authors of this paper - teachers in the Department of British and American Studies who took part in COIL projects - provided detailed accounts and reflections about how the students were able to benefit from taking part in such activities. |
