Details The goal of co-creative communication is value creation, yet we still lack understanding of its mechanism. On the one hand, Schumpeter proposed that Creative Destruction in competition is the key to value creation. Therefore, the competition of incompatible views can be considered as a key step in co-creative communication. On the other hand, Nonaka's SECI model emphasizes the role of the synthesis of views in value co-creation, which highly depends on the commitment of all individuals and the interaction between them. Thus, the synthesis of different views can also be considered to play a central role in co-creative communication. We propose a combination of these two models. That is, to discuss the specific roles of competition and synthesis of different views in co-creative communication, a better understanding of the mechanism of co-creative communication can be achieved.
