概要	This presentation highlights a pilot study that explores the use of a virtual learning environment (VLE) in Model United Nations (MUN) simulations. Researchers created a digital twin of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) chambers in New York to serve as a virutal environment for students to represent member states in negotiating the drafting of a UNSC Presidential Statement on the 2021 withdrawal of the United States and allied troops from Afghanistan. The presentation outlines the use of VLEs in preparing for MUN events, and analyses the students’ use of negotiation strategies in a VLE compared to face-to-face situations.
