概要	Most language teachers have, at one time or another, almost certainly had the unwelcome sense that their students’ motivation levels might be dipping somewhat and that something ought to be done to reinvigorate them. In Writing and Speaking classes, this can be the perfect time at which to present interesting photographs to students for them to engage with creatively. This presentation outlines a number of ways photographs can be used to form the basis of stimulating tasks, usually conducted in pairs or groups, in which ideas are exchanged, refined, and then shared with the class as a whole.
