概要	Provided that there is a contingency in the Taiwan Strait, there can be many different situations. This will complicate how Japan should respond. Japan's leaders will be hard-pressed to decide if a situation warrants to be designated to be a survival-threatening situation or not, for example. This decision process tends to be time-consuming and might be too late to deal with an evolving situation.
