Details | Is it possible to train university students to become more actively involved in their own learning processes? This present research attempts to integrate L2 reflective writing into communicative university English classes. The rationale behind this project is to find a way to engage students to become more consciously involved in their language learning through reflective writing. Students are asked to reflect on in-class and out-of-class activities, as well as their language learning experiences in general. This ongoing reflection includes both low-level and higher-level English language learners, with both groups offering challenges in planning and implementation. The ultimate goal of this project is to encourage learner autonomy beyond the classroom. |
