Details | One of the aims of language teaching in general is to foster autonomous learning outside of the classroom. The question is how to encourage learners to take a more proactive role in their own language learning. This presentation will describe a project in which students created e-portfolios by making their own personalized websites. The e-portfolios provide a place for students to store and showcase their work, as well as opportunities for reflection, so that students will (ideally) see their progression in English. This presentation is geared towards educators who are interested in such a project with their own students. |
