Details This presentation introduced a select number of sites and alternative options that this researcher has used successfully in the classroom. This workshop was geared towards educators who would like to include some elements of ICT in their classrooms, but who were not sure of where to start, or were perhaps looking for new ideas. There was a particular focus on free (or almost free) websites and other online tools that can foster learner autonomy both in and out of the classroom, and that can be used with computers, tablets, and smartphones.
