Details	英語の総称文には、主語名詞句が単数不定形、複数不定形、単数定形である三種類が存在し、一般的にそれぞれは異なる種類の総称性と関連付けられている (Carlson & Pelletier 1995)。不定形の総称文に特に注目し、それぞれは主語の指示対象が参与する事態の異なる概念化を反映していることを、フレーム意味論の観点から示す。
