Details | This presentation is based on the author’s practical experience and literature review of CALL. It presents in practical terms 10 clear steps involved in setting up and guiding students to successfully completing a research and Web-authoring project. In addition to collaboration, other pedagogical issues discussed included student-centered learning, student and teacher roles, authenticity, and motivation. These aspects are also related to practical examples carried out at a Japanese university to highlight the benefits and limitations associated with collaborative Web-based projects and the strategies that could improve student learning with such projects in the future. |
