Details	This paper presents a case study of a project to run a standard diesel car in Japan on waste vegetable oil (wvo). The presentation will look at the key decisions that led to WVO being used over other eco-friendly alternatives for running a family car. It will also consider the key advantages and limitations of this energy source while considering other competing 'green' fuels or car systems. Data collected over the seven years will also be presented and discussed.
