Details | The diachronic studies on the copy or "traslado" of the Yucatec Mayan land titles reveals 17 th-18th century's realities of the colonial indigenous society, in which the scribes realized them. This questions not only the "fidelity" of the copies to the original document, but also the dynamics on the Mayan literacy during the colonial period. |
