Details	有益性発見尺度を作成し，その信頼性・妥当性について検討した。297名を対象に行った調査の結果，有益性発見尺度は2下位尺度で構成されること，その両者は十分な内的一貫性を有することを確認した。また，有益性発見の高さは，ストレスを感じる出来事に対し，その脅威性や苦痛性を低減させる働きがあることも示された。
