Details | This presentation provided the teaching process of academic skills through Project English Program. In University curriculums, it is important that students learn ways to convey the academic information. The Project English Program (PEP) at the Ritsumeikan University provides four sections to reach the specific goal. It offers the opportunities to give a presentation of individual research. For instance, Project1 teaches how to make effective presentation through structuring methods.
PEP also offers the chance to learn how to gather information and give a presentation or discussion. The students learned TED ideas and chose own theme they were interested in and shared their ideas through group activities. The point is how the students can tell their information to audiences using the experiences and knowledge. |
