Details	日本は苦境にある。エネルギー安全保障を考えると原子力発電は、少なくとも当面は、必要である。その一方、余剰プルトニウム問題があり、核不拡散の観点からは懸念材料となっている。MOX燃料を使ってその余剰を削減する予定であったが、福島の事故を受けて頓挫している。使用済み燃料保管のh間。・貯蔵も、当該の発電所施設での貯蔵施設も遅からず満杯となる。時間がないが、新規の保管場所は確保できる目算がない。八方ふさがりであり、画期的な解決策は見つかっていない。
