Details	米国のNMD計画は、ロシアよりも中国に深刻な影響を与える。もっとも、ロシアと中国の短期的な軍事的対応策は限られている。TMDに関して、わが国の場合ではPac-3は中国も認めており、導入に大きな障害はないが、高層防衛用の例えばNTWDは国内法的にも問題が多いと論じた。韓国は導入しても意味がなく、台湾の場合は政治的意義の方がはるかに大きいと指摘した。
