Details	帝王的大統領が1966年から1984年まで続いたと発表者と議論したが、なぜその期間なのか。誰かが最終的な決定、しかも正統性を持つ決断をしなければならず、その意味では常に帝王的と言えなくもないと指摘した。また、フォード大統領も帝王的な大統領であるとは思えない。1970年代のリベラル派の成功が、その後の保守派の席巻につながったとする議論も、理解しがたかった。
