Details	韓国の盧武鉉政権が竹島問題で日本に取った態度を攻撃的、軍事的で危険である、と著者は論じた。民主的平和論が予想するような行動を民主主義国とみなされた韓国は、民主主義国日本とらなかった。韓国は軍事行動を日本に対して示唆し、日本は妥協したと論じた。なぜ韓国は日本に対してここまで敵対的なのか、などと論じた。提示された「証拠」は事実とみなしてよいものであると思われたので、議論の論理展開には、説得力があるのではないかと感じた。
