Details	日本もそうであるが、中国の華夷秩序観には天下概念がある。天下のもとにある地域は、概念上分離不可能である。中国の例えば南シナ海全体への領土主張の背後には、通常言われる主権国家概念だけではなく、この天下概念の影響があるのではないかと論じた。もしそうならば、妥協不可能で強硬といわれる姿勢の背後には、この観念があるともいえる。
