概要	定型詩の汎文化的分布は性選択上の適応ゆえに維持されているという進化論的仮説を提唱し、日英の文学テキストの定型詩と散文と文体的差異の統計的分析から、定型が誇示として機能するのに十分な制約であることを示す。
