Details	This presentation describes a Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience implemented in a B1-level university Spanish course in Japan, focused on migration and integrating linguistic and cultural content. Its aim is to develop students’ intercultural competence through reflection on diverse life experiences, fostering empathy, understanding of different ways of life, and motivation through authentic learning contexts. The presentation also outlines the principles of PBL and the project design, highlighting collaborative learning, the development of communicative skills in real-life situations, and critical reflection on learners’ own cultural perceptions.
