| Details | This presentation reports on a multilingual and multicultural experiential learning project conducted by foreign language majors for local children. The students organized multilingual picture-book read-aloud sessions in the languages they study or their heritage languages, as well as multicultural introduction activities through quizzes.
These activities were carried out both on and off campus—for example, at children’s centers, community children’s cafeterias, commercial facilities, university festivals, and campus visit events for elementary school students. Based on the principles of plurilingualism and pluriculturalism, the presentation examines the educational impact of this project on foreign language majors and discusses its broader social significance. |
