Details This study explores the influence of service strategies and HR practices on the employee retention with applying a talent management lens which focuses on special individuals who shape the core competence of firms. The findings show that presentation of clear service strategies and customization of work arrangement may retain talented new employees as compared with small increase of wage in lodging industry.
