概要	This presentation explained one method for teaching beginning writing to immigrant students at Beloit Memorial High School. Nearly all the students had not written extensively in their native language resulting in severe writer's block. Writing models and short stories were used to increase interest in writing. Seeing their work published was another motivating factor for these young high school students.
