Details	This presentation details the development and use of a large-scale longitudinal learner corpus containing texts collected from 500 Japanese first-year university L2 English learners at different time points and across different production modes (academic writing, presentations, discussions). The three sub-corpora were analyzed for lexical diversity using MTLD (McCarthy & Jarvis, 2010), and lexical sophistication was assessed following the methods of Crossley et al. (2013). Finally, participants' use of multi-word expressions (MWEs) was tracked over time.
